The brief
Food logging fails because it is tedious. The app had to get from camera to a usable breakdown fast enough that logging a meal never felt like homework, on both iOS and Android from a single codebase.
What we did

- 02Image recognition pipeline tuned for latency over exhaustive accuracy
- 03Logging flow reduced to a single screen with correction after the fact
- 04Analytics wired in before launch so retention was measurable on day one
The outcome
