Performance marketing agency in India, judged on pipeline not impressions

Most agency reporting in India is a screenshot of the ads manager. Ours starts in your CRM: qualified leads, cost per qualified lead, and revenue closed against spend. If the campaign cannot be traced to money, we treat it as unproven rather than as a win.

The short answer

Performance marketing is paid advertising managed against measurable business outcomes — cost per qualified lead, customer acquisition cost and return on ad spend — rather than reach or clicks. Advorize runs Meta, Google, LinkedIn and TikTok campaigns for Indian businesses with tracking wired into the CRM, on a monthly retainer alongside your media budget.

The problem

Spend is up, and nobody can say what it bought

Ad spendForm fillCRM:qualified?Algorithmlearns
The platform only ever hears about form fills, so it becomes excellent at finding people who fill forms and never answer the phone.

The account looks busy. There are twelve campaigns, forty ad sets, a dashboard full of green numbers. Then you ask which campaign produced the four deals that closed last month, and the room goes quiet — because the tracking never connected the ad platform to the CRM, so every optimisation decision for a year has been made on proxy metrics.

  • 01The monthly report leads with impressions, reach and CTR, and revenue does not appear in it.
  • 02Meta reports ninety leads, the CRM shows sixty-one, and nobody has reconciled the gap.
  • 03Every form fill counts as a conversion, so the algorithm has learnt to find people who fill forms rather than people who buy.
  • 04Budget is spread evenly across campaigns because nobody knows which one to cut.
  • 05Creative has not changed in four months and frequency is above four, so you are paying to annoy the same audience.
Why businesses need it

Why paid media, and why it looks different per industry

The channel that works, the metric that matters and the follow-up that closes it all change by vertical. A single 'digital marketing package' across all of them is why most retainers underperform.

Real estate & developers

Without it

Portal leads at ₹1,200–₹2,500 each, shared with three competitors, and a sales team calling four hours late.

With it

Owned campaigns with project-specific landing pages, instant WhatsApp routing and site-visit booking as the optimised event, not the form fill.

We have taken cost per lead to ₹51 on a live campaign — and, more importantly, cost per site visit down with it.

Healthcare & clinics

Without it

Advertising restrictions, high competition on treatment keywords, and enquiries that need a human within minutes.

With it

Compliant creative, treatment-specific landing pages, call tracking, and appointment booked as the conversion event.

Cost per booked appointment replaces cost per enquiry as the number the account is run on.

D2C & e-commerce

Without it

ROAS reported by the platform is double what the bank statement supports, because view-through and duplication are inflating it.

With it

Server-side purchase events, deduplication, and a blended-ROAS view reconciled against actual revenue.

The number in the report starts matching the number in the account.

Education & coaching

Without it

Cheap enquiries in volume, almost none of which enrol, and a counselling team drowning in unqualified calls.

With it

Qualification in the form and in the follow-up, with enrolment fed back as the conversion signal the algorithm learns from.

Cost per enrolment falls even as cost per enquiry rises — which is the correct trade.

B2B & SaaS

Without it

LinkedIn spend with no attribution past the first click, and a six-month sales cycle nobody is modelling.

With it

Offline conversion imports from the CRM, so closed revenue rather than MQLs trains the platform, plus intent-led search capture.

Pipeline per rupee becomes reportable at a horizon longer than thirty days.

Local services

Without it

Calls that arrive when nobody is at the desk, and no idea which of them came from advertising.

With it

Call tracking numbers, hours-aware scheduling, and location-targeted campaigns pointed at branch pages.

You can finally answer 'did the ads work' with a number rather than an impression.
Why software, not headcount

Why measurement is the product

The creative and the media buying matter, but they are commodities compared with this: an account where the conversion signal is honest outperforms an account where it is not, with the same budget and the same ads. Almost all of our early wins on a new account come from fixing measurement.

The algorithm learns from what you tell it

Optimise for form fills and you get form-fillers. Send back the qualified leads and the closed deals, and the same budget starts finding a different kind of person. This one change routinely moves cost per qualified lead more than any creative test.

Server-side recovers what the browser loses

Between iOS restrictions and ad blockers, browser-only pixels miss a meaningful share of conversions. The Conversions API and Enhanced Conversions hand those events back, which improves both reporting and delivery.

Speed of follow-up beats cleverness of targeting

Lead response time in India is the largest single controllable variable in conversion rate. Instant WhatsApp routing plus a five-minute call SLA beats any audience refinement we could build — see [AI Automations](/services/ai-automations).

One dashboard ends the arguments

Spend, leads, qualification and revenue in one table, updated daily. Most of the friction between a client and an agency is two people looking at different numbers.

Scope

What a performance marketing engagement includes

01

Account and funnel audit

Structure, wasted spend, tracking integrity, creative fatigue and landing page fit. You get the document whether or not you hire us.

02

Measurement build

GA4, Meta Conversions API, Google Enhanced Conversions, offline conversion imports and an event map you can read. Detailed on [Conversion & Analytics](/services/conversion-analytics).

03

Account restructure

Campaign architecture rebuilt around how the algorithm actually spends now — consolidated, budget-efficient, testable.

04

Creative production

Statics, UGC and video in the ratios each placement needs, shipped weekly. Covered on [Ad Creative & Content Production](/services/ad-creative-production).

05

Landing pages

Offer-specific pages with message match and a single action, built by the same team that builds the sites.

06

Audience and retargeting

Exclusions, customer lists, lookalikes and a retargeting ladder that stops when frequency stops being useful.

07

Lead routing

Instant handoff to WhatsApp, CRM or a call queue, with source and campaign attached so attribution survives the handover.

08

Weekly optimisation and reporting

A weekly working session on the numbers, a monthly report that starts with revenue, and a decision log of what changed and why.

The performance marketing stack we build on

Every tool on this list is one we have shipped and still maintain for a paying client. Nothing here is aspirational — if it is not in production somewhere, it is not on the page.

Agents on the account

The agents we run on your account

A retainer is not eight people watching dashboards. Most of the monitoring on a managed account runs as automations we have built, checking things at a frequency no human would sustain — and escalating to a person the moment something needs judgement. Here is what is actually running behind an Advorize account.

0102030405060708Accountbrain
  1. 01
    Lead router

Picks up every form submission within seconds, stamps the campaign and creative on it, and pushes it to WhatsApp and the CRM before the visitor has closed the tab.

Connected to: Meta Lead Ads, site forms, WhatsApp API, CRM
  2. 02
    Qualification agent

Asks the two or three questions that separate a buyer from a browser, tags the record, and sends the qualified ones back to Meta and Google as the conversion event.

Connected to: WhatsApp, CRM, Conversions API
  3. 03
    Spend sentinel

Watches pacing and cost per result against the plan hourly, and raises an alert when a campaign is heading for an overspend or a collapse in efficiency.

Connected to: Meta Ads API, Google Ads API, Slack
  4. 04
    Creative fatigue watcher

Tracks frequency, CTR decay and cost per result per creative, and flags an ad for replacement before its performance falls off rather than after.

Connected to: Ads APIs, creative library
  5. 05
    Tracking auditor

Fires a synthetic conversion daily and verifies it arrives in GA4, Meta and the CRM — so a broken pixel is caught the same day, not at month end.

Connected to: GA4, Meta Events Manager, CRM
  6. 06
    Follow-up sequencer

Runs the reminder ladder for leads the sales team has not reached, on WhatsApp and email, and stops the moment a human replies.

Connected to: WhatsApp API, email, CRM
  7. 07
    Report assembler

Pulls spend, leads, qualification and closed revenue into one dashboard every morning, and writes the plain-English summary of what changed.

Connected to: Ads APIs, CRM, Looker Studio
  8. 08
    Feed and compliance checker

Watches Merchant Centre disapprovals, policy flags and landing page errors, so a rejected feed is a message rather than a silent week of zero sales.

In depth

performance marketing agency in India: how it works and what it is worth

Most agency reporting in India is a screenshot of the ads manager. This page is about the alternative: an account run against what your CRM says happened, where the number that decides budget is cost per qualified lead rather than cost per click.

What performance marketing means

Paid advertising managed against measurable business outcomes — cost per qualified lead, customer acquisition cost, return on ad spend — rather than reach, impressions or engagement. The distinction sounds pedantic until you notice that an account optimised for form fills will reliably find people who fill forms and never answer the phone.

Why measurement is most of the job

Almost all of our early wins on a new account come from fixing what the account is optimising for, not from better creative or cleverer targeting. Three things in order:

  1. 01Send the right event. Qualified leads from the CRM, not raw form fills. The population the algorithm finds changes.
  2. 02Send it server-side. Browser-only pixels lose a meaningful share of conversions to iOS and blockers; the Conversions API hands them back.
  3. 03Close the loop with revenue. Offline conversion imports so closed deals, not MQLs, train the account.

The implementation detail is on Conversion & Analytics and server-side tracking setup.

Google when the demand already exists and people are searching for what you sell — you are capturing intent. Meta when you have to create the demand, or when targeting is demographic rather than intent-based. Most accounts end up on both, but starting with one and doing it properly beats splitting a small budget across two. The full comparison for Indian advertisers is in Google Ads vs Meta Ads, and the channel pages are Meta ads and Google Ads management.

Creative is the testing programme now

With targeting largely automated across the major platforms, creative volume is the main lever an advertiser still controls. That means several new concepts weekly rather than a quarterly shoot, in native ratios, with captions because most of India watches muted — see Ad Creative & Content Production.

What a good cost per lead looks like

Anywhere from under ₹100 for low-ticket consumer offers to well over ₹1,500 in competitive B2B and real estate. The number is meaningless without a qualification rate beside it — a cheap lead that never qualifies is more expensive than an expensive one that books a site visit. Industry benchmarks are in cost per lead benchmarks in India, and the qualification argument is in lead generation.

How long before it works

First leads inside a week. A trustworthy read on cost per qualified lead takes four to six weeks, because the platforms need conversion volume to exit the learning phase and you need enough leads to judge quality. Anyone promising a stable ROAS in week two is describing luck.

How it runs

Our performance marketing process, week by week

Every stage ends in something you can hold — a document, a build, a live account. If a stage cannot name its output, it is a meeting, not a stage.

01

Audit

Two weeks of account history, tracking verification, funnel review and a written list of where money is leaking. Free, and yours regardless.

Output: Audit document and opportunity list
02

Measurement first

Before we touch budget, the conversion signal gets fixed: server-side events, CRM integration, and a definition of what counts as a qualified lead.

Output: Verified event map
03

Restructure and launch

Account rebuilt, creative and landing pages shipped, campaigns launched at controlled budget with a learning plan.

Output: Live campaigns and a test schedule
04

Learn

Two to four weeks of deliberate testing on audiences, creative and offers, with enough volume per test to mean something.

Output: Winning combinations, documented
05

Scale

Budget moves to what works, frequency is watched, and creative is refreshed on a cadence rather than in a panic.

Output: Weekly optimisation log
06

Report and decide

A weekly working session on the numbers and a monthly report that opens with revenue, not reach.

Output: Dashboard and monthly review

Performance Marketing questions

Retainers are priced on how many channels are managed and how much creative and landing page work is included, and they sit alongside your media budget rather than taking a cut of it. Percentage-of-spend pricing exists in this market and creates an incentive we would rather not have — the more it costs you, the more we earn.
