Bespoke systems for how one business actually works — with the patterns that make complex software usable: grids, rules, permissions, imports, scheduling.5 designs · by Advorize

Twelve patterns for data-heavy, multi-role, regulated software. Every tile is live — sort the grid, tick permissions, switch environments, open the command palette.
Trained new staff for weeks on a bespoke system nobody enjoyed using.
Uses grids, rules, imports and permissions that behave like the best SaaS tools — so training takes days.

02 — Custom software · Team communicationDesigned by Advorize
A private messaging platform where people talk inside the groups they belong to — sites, projects and departments — with tasks, approvals and shift handovers built into the conversation. Based on a custom solution we delivered for a company in Dallas, Texas, and deliberately different from off-the-shelf chat tools.
Pallet 18 on door 6 arrived crushed on one side. Photos below 👇
Requesting 2h overtime for door 6 crew to clear the backlog before the 6 PM trailers.
Gave instructions in a general chat where they scrolled away, then repeated them at handover.
Turns a message into a task with an owner, approves overtime in the thread, and hands over from an auto-drafted summary.
Sites, projects and departments are created from the org structure and people join by role — no channel sprawl.
Any message turns into a task or an approval with an owner and a due time, right in the thread.
At shift change the group drafts a handover from the day's thread — the moment frontline teams lose the most information.

The screen behind a 10-minute promise. Orders arrive with a countdown, pickers are assigned by aisle, and anything about to breach the SLA jumps the queue.
Shouted order numbers across the store and found late orders only when riders complained.
Sees every order as a ticking card, with SLA risks jumping the queue automatically.
Elapsed time on each order drives priority, not order number.
Assignment groups items by aisle route, the biggest lever on pack time.
Store pickups have their own status so counter staff and riders never collide.
04 — Travel · OperationsDesigned by Advorize
Back-office software for a tour company: departures, capacity, guides and payments in one place. The board shows which trips will run, which need pushing, and which are at risk.

|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sikkim & Darjeeling 8D Trek · moderate | 2 Nov | 14/16 | Pema D. | Guaranteed | €22,400 | |
| Kerala backwaters 6D Culture · easy | 5 Nov | 9/20 | Anil K. | Needs 3 more | €10,800 | |
| Ladakh winter 10D Adventure · hard | 9 Nov | 4/12 | — | At risk | €7,600 | |
| Rajasthan forts 7D Heritage · easy | 12 Nov | 18/18 | Meera S. | Sold out | €25,200 | |
| Andaman islands 6D Beach · easy | 15 Nov | 11/16 | Rohit P. | Guaranteed | €17,600 |
Discovered a trip was below its minimum group size a week before departure.
Sees "needs 3 more" weeks ahead and pushes that trip to marketing while there is still time.
Every departure carries a status against its minimum group size — the question owners ask first.
Seat load reads instantly; low-load trips turn accent so they get marketing attention.
An unassigned guide shows as a dash in the table, not a missing row in another tool.
05 — Dashboards · AutomationDesigned by Advorize
Accounts-payable teams build their own invoice workflow: capture, extract, three-way match, then either post automatically or route to a person. No tickets to IT, and every rule is readable at a glance.
Keyed every invoice by hand and checked it against the PO and goods receipt in two other systems.
Built the workflow himself; nine in ten invoices now post on their own and he reviews only the exceptions.
Triggers, AI, logic and actions each have a hue, so the shape of a workflow reads from across the room.
Each branch shows how many invoices took it — the canvas doubles as a report.
Every setting explains itself in one sentence; finance users never see an expression editor.

Buy when your process is standard. Build when the way you work is your advantage, when off-the-shelf tools force workarounds, or when you need to own your data and workflows.
Yes — our Huddle concept is based on a custom solution we delivered for a company in Dallas: group chat organised around sites, projects and departments, with tasks, approvals and shift handovers in the conversation.
We reuse proven patterns — data grids, rule builders, permission matrices, imports, audit logs and command palettes — so bespoke software feels as polished as the best SaaS tools.
Usually two to four months for a first release, designed and built in phases so your team starts using it early.
Yes. Import and field-mapping flows are part of our design, and our engineers handle the migration itself.
